“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens” Ecclesiastes 3:1
I know there are gracious people out there that read my blog and will have wondered why I have been so quiet in recent months. The truth is I have been doing as little as possible. The reason is a happy one – we are expecting our third child in March next year. Unfortunately though, pregnancy doesn’t treat me kindly and consequently I have been spending the last few months vomiting, trying my hardest not to faint when my blood pressure is extremely low and sleeping as much as possible. So far these physical challenges haven’t abated and, if my last pregnancy is an indicator of things to come, may last to delivery day.
Something that I haven’t experienced in previous pregnancies is that using the computer is a stimulus for my vomiting. As a result I have had to take sick leave from almost all my paid work as a doctor, and blogging has been out of the question. With that in mind I will keep this post as brief as possible.
I promise, as soon as I am able to update you on our most recent explorations (unfortunately timed just as the illness commenced ) to the exquisite Magnetic Island. I know my boys are particularly keen that I share our experiences of the “best aquarium ever” Reef HQ Great Barrier Reef Aquarium in Townsville so I plan to rope in the hubby to write his first blog post on that one.
With a new little one on the way I am sure there will be a ton of baby travel related content that I can’t wait to share.
In the meantime – please don’t give up on the blog friends. Check in once in a while to see how we are going.
Blessings to you. Danielle

Hello there, I had wondered where you’d got to. Hope that you aren’t feeling grim ALL the time… poor you. But at the end, you get a wee baby to cuddle. There’s heaps of good stuff on your blog for people to enjoy in the meantime.
Thinking of you and look forward to when you do manage the Aquarium post.
Take it easy.
Congratulations, Danielle! Take care of yourself and hope you are feeling better soon!
Congratulations and hope you feel ok again soon!
