I never would have guessed that I would have a little boy that loves the Disney Princesses. Last year we enjoyed our first Disney vacation together at Disneyland California and together we met every single princess. Closest to my four year old son’s heart is Ariel the Mermaid who my son is determined to make his future bride, and no prince is going to get in his way!
This year the Disney Princesses are coming to Australia in the show Disney on Ice! Princesses and Heroes. Disney on Ice! Princesses and Heroes features eight beautiful Disney Princesses as well as their dashing Princes. It incorporates skating, acrobatics and high flying jumps. Needless to say I have one very excited little boy that is eagerly anticipating seeing his lovely Ariel again.

Definitely Ariel the Mermaid! We live near the beach and anything connected with the ocean is a delight to my 3 year old.
My PJPrincess loves Cinderella, although I’m not a wicked stepmother I am foster mother so perhaps she feels she can relate to Cinderella and hopes for a Happily Ever After in her life too.
My daughter adores Disney princesses. She dresses like Belle and Cinderella most days. Cinderella is her favourite ” because she marries a prince and looks so beautiful and is a beautiful person”.
My daughter was beyond thrilled to meet Princess Tiana at Disneyworld in 2010. She loves the feisty personality & the determination to have a career. I LOVE that Disney subtly provides such a good role model 😉
Miss 3 adores rapunzel, and just quietly so do l. How much fun does flying down that tower in your golden locks : )
Ariel, my daughter is mermaid mad she loves the water and loves dressing up in her mermaid dress ups she even has to wear a mermaid tail swimsuit in the bath.
My daughter loves Rapunzel as she has long hair aswell. She loves pretending with her brother to let down her hair so he can play along and be Prince Flynn 🙂
Ariel the little mermaid! My 2 daughters love her to bits they watvh her movies all the time…My daughter has a birthday in june….
With 3 daughters they all love princesses so it makes it interesting when they all want that one to be their favourite. My eldests all time favourite would be Belle, she just loves everything about Belle. My middle daughter loves Merida from Brave as she is a bit rebelious just like her & my youngest favourite is Ariel because she can be both a mermaid and a human!
My daughter adores Vanellope Von Schweetz though she’s not your conventional princess she loves her cheeky attitude and her quirkiness. She’s a little bit of a Tom boy and my daughter can be too sometimes so with this and Vanellope’s cheeky attitude they have a lot in common 🙂
My 6 year daughter just loves anything Disney, the characters the films. She has all the princess costumes and loves to dress up. Her favorite (this week) is snow white- she likes her hair and dress
My son is in love with Princess Jasmin from Aladdin. She is beautiful and has a tiger for a pet!
My 3 year old son LOVES princesses and fairies 🙂
He just told me his favourite is Snow White and his reason is “I love her cos she is so beautiful, sings lovely and is a nice friend” :-))
Disney is the best for making the little uns glue themselves to the wonder and watch with excitement. My bubs loves to watch Pocahontas! She is wild and free yet kind, brave and wise, much like my own little princess.
I asked my 5 year old daughter and her answer was ” Cinderella because she has pretty glass slippers and Ariel because I LOVE Mermaids so I have 2 mummy, sorry I cant pick 1 ” hahaha
Although it is so hard to choose only one, if my little princess had to pick a favourite Disney princess, she would choose Cinderella. We love Cinderella’s kind heart and she has taught us that beauty is much more that what is on the outside xx
Our little princess loves Ariel The Little Mermaid and I must say I really enjoy that movie as well! “Don’t be such a guppy!” is our favourite Ariel quote!
My little girl & boy love Cinderella & get excited every time they watch Prince Charming trying to find who the slipper belongs to!
My two boys love Disney Cars the movie, mummy is getting to know all the words and could talk through the movie without watching it! Please give my boys a chance to watch a live show (never have before) to help them discover the little mermaid and to give me some new songs to learn off by heart! It would make then two very happy little boys 🙂
My son loves all the Disney princesses but when pressed, he chose “sleeping beauty because she gets to sleep alot” I like his style!
Ariel, the way she flips her tail, and her beautiful colors, just dazzle my little one.
My son loves snow white because he loves the seven dwarfs too.
my granddaughter loves Cinderella…she says its because she is a princess just like her is Nanna’s princess
Master 3 has just discovered Aladdin and he LOVES the Genie. He runs around the house saying ‘Exits are here, here, here, here, here EVERYWHERE” Too cute
Ariel
The ONLY red headed character that isn’t a clown or a freak. She made me realise that as a red-head I could also be beautiful.
My boys love cinderella so much and snow white
My son loves Rapunzel and Cinderella. He loves signing along with me and dancing. I am a big disney fan myself so my poor boy didn’t stand a chance.
My 4 year old son LOVES all the princesses. 🙂 His favourite is Belle because she loves books. He has lots of books and wants to share them with her!
My daughter’s favourite Disney princess is Ariel because she is beautiful and different and she loves the sea and all it’s creatures.
My daughters favorite is Pocahontas, she says it’s because of her pretty hair and the way she talks.
Miss 5 loves Ariel! Always has for as long as I can remember. It’s too cute 🙂
My granddaughters favourite is Ariel, she likes that
She can go in and out of the water and is always pretty.
Tangled’s princess Rapunzel, with her golden long locks has inspired my little one to pursue a similar hairstyle.
With three daughters it is a huge discussion that ended in paper, scissors, rock to decide., but then there was tears! So they agreed to disagree …. Cinderella is the best princess because she is just beautiful nod the nicest (Miss 3) and Rapunzel with her stunning long hair (Miss 9) declared, that is like her own!
Ariel all girls love to imagine they are mermaids, as well she has gorgeous red hair and a beautiful singing voice my daughter thinks she is amazing.
Miss 7’s favourite is Cinderella in her words ” Because she has yellow hair & blue eyes like me ” she also loves her shoes… Who doesn’t ♥
My almost four year oldl loves Bambi. We watched the movie. His heart broke!
Rapunzel is our Tangled fave, a strong and inquisitive maid. Wields a frypan like a pro, her amazing hair we try to grow.
Baloo fron Jungle Book. My son adores him. We laugh along at Baloo’s antics and then dance and sing along to ‘The Bare Necessities’ . How could you not love Baloo?
My almost four year old loves Bambi. We watched the movie. His tender little heart broke! Then we had to watch it again!
Ariel the Little Mermaid – it’s scary, yet sweet and my little girl loves it.
My animal loving daughter loves Snow White because all the animals love her.
My six children love Aladdin and therefore love Princess Jasmine, they think she is beautiful and my girls pretend to be her.
My son loves Rupunzel because she can use her hair as a weapon and that is pretty cool according to him!
An oldie that my grandchildren love is Snow White my grandchildren love reading the stories of her and how she came back to life
Ariel. She loves her. Demands to know why Daddy and I didn’t make her with red hair like Ariel. I can’t sew to save my life but I’ve had to learn quick. She will only wear Ariel PJ’s. NO-ONE makes Ariel PJ’S!!! My daughter is only 3!
Forget about my daughter, I love disney. I love Ariel and Belle. I used to go as a kid. My grandmother took me. My daughter doesn’t have a favourite character yet, but I can’t wait until she does and I can enjoy theses shows with her too xox
My 7 year old loves Snow White but I think it is because of the songs that are in the movie…
Snow White – the first disney movie I saw way back in the “olden” days and still my favourite princess.
I have never seen ant show on ice and would love to take my granddaughters
My little one loves Ariel for her long red hair.
My 6 year old son said “the girl in Tangled because I like it when we visit Kailey and we watch it together because she loves that girl…..I like the horse.”
Kailey is his cousin who lives interstate. And I’m sure he knows the names but is being all Boyish haha
My daughters favourite is Ariel, my daughter has a disability and because of this she gets treated different, she says to me ‘Mummy Ariel is different and she gets treated nice’. Wise words from such a wise soul.
My daughter has been in love with The Little Mermaid for years, her biggest wish is to swim with Ariel under the sea.
Ariel for sure, Miss Tyler has been jumping into the pool since she was 6 months old, thankfully we are with her.
My daughter loves sleeping beauty (princess Aurora). She twirls around the house pretending to sing like her all the time 🙂 She would love to see the princesses on Ice this year!
Ariel- her daddy has red hair too.
Ariel – both my girls love her because they love water!
Rapunzel as she has beautiful hair
Children can be kind; children can be cruel,
From happy to sad when my daughter first commenced school,
Racial prejudice she did endure,
My comforting words could not assure,
Co-incidentally “The Princess and The Frog” was released during this ordeal,
“Princess Tiana’s” complexion did appeal,
It was love at first sight,
A role model for my daughter which epitomised pure delight,
“Princess Tiana” gave my daughter hope,
And her story from rags to riches eased her pain and helped her cope,
EVERY “Princess Tiana” doll we do own!
“Inspiration” Princess Tiana has given and shown,
Truly a friend for life,
Because she was the ONLY one that cemented my daughter’s emotions together when in emotional strife….
Ariel is Miss 8’s favourite Disney Princess as they both love swimming!
Ariel because he loves water and everything in the water.
BECAUSE THESE ICE BLADES IN TOY LAND ARE TW-ICE AS N-ICE ON ICE. (would love to go the brisbane show.)
Our entire family loves Princess Merida from Brave. She doesn’t need a prince to rescue her, and there is no love story to “mess up the action” says my 7 year old son. The movie also has a lovely message about families and mothers and daughters in particular which was lovely. It’s nice to have a Disney princess all the family enjoys! Great Scottish music too!
Pocahontas – they just love her!
The Mermaid “Ariel” she is such a beautiful sea nymph.
My three year old daughter loves Belle from Beauty and the Beast because “she wears yellow”.
Ariel the Mermaid – not at all influenced by the fact that I love Ariel and have shoved her in her face since birth….
my daughter loves ariel due to the fact she is in water all the time and my daughter wants to swim with her
Long hair and Horses are my daughters two main focuses in her little life so it was always going to be Rapunzel!
My daughter says Belle! Because she loved a beast and she wants to see the world, like my little one does!
Children cannot decide between Ariel and Snow White. Both are loved dearly. Ariel because of her love of the sea and its creatures and Snow White because of her beauty and her friendliness towards the seven Dwarfs.
Would LOVE tickets to the Newcastle show.
Ariel – From 1 Water Baby to a Water Lady, both have an infinity to the sea
Snow White – as she ‘Dwarves’ all other princesses with her personality, character and good will.
ARIEL dress worn every day,
With countless dolls and books,
On Miss 5’s last birthday,
The Little Mermaid cake I cooked,
This movie watched over again
Knows words to every song
Apart of her world she truly wishes,
Disney on Ice is where we belong.
jasmine, she got a magic carpet to ride on, a monkey, a talking bird, and most importantly, a genie.
My 2 year old boy loves Jasmine from Aladdin! I think mainly because its our favourite show to watch together!
She adores Cinderella because she loves how all the animals get her ready for the ball.
Everything about Disney Princess’ captures my daughters imagination.
Princess Merida (Brave) A firey little red haired rocket – just like she is!
My son 3yo loves Ariel, he always asks is she my best friend???
Miss 6 says “Sleeping Beauty: She gets to sleep in!”
Would have to be Cinderella as she thinks everyone lives in a magical castle
My daughter cannot pick a favourite. She said it feels like she is being mean to the others if she picks a favourite 🙁
With four granddaughters’ they all love all of the princesses, but at the moment, Aerial the little mermaid is their favorite and one of my grandsons ‘he’s three” also likes the princesses.
My 3 year old thinks Rapunzel is “so beautiful” with those luxurious long locks
Aladdin. He rocks.
We will love to go to Brisbane to See Ariel Under the Sea and while we are enjoying the show ” You can just stay here and watch for sharks” -Ariel .All this ” Years of dreams just can’t be wrong! -Anastasia Wishing and dreaming of watch this Show
“dare you? All of you! Standing around deciding” …..who won! Jasmine
Thanks for the chance
My daughter loves Mulan. We adopted her from Vietnam three years ago, and part of me suspected that she loved Mulan so much because she looked more like her but when I asked her why she loved Mulan the best, she said because “Mulan is tougher than all the boys and is still pretty”. My baby is fiercely independent and never afraid to get dirty- it shouldn’t of surprised me!
Loves them all but Princess Fiona from Shrek it is at the moment
My daughter has wanted to be Rapunzel since she was three. She has been growing her hair since then and now at 12, she is able to sit on it. She is so proud of the length and loves to be called Rapunzel!
Herself of course – she constantly recreates the scenes from all the Disney movies and becomes a Disney Princess star!
My daughters loves Belle because they share her long brown locks and a love of yellow dresses. Like Belle they also love books.
My chronically ill daughter and her big sister both love Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Miss 2 loves the water and we were medically advised to put her in swimming lessons, she has the most adorable smile, loves to kick and loves her “AHHWELL” (Ariel) swimmers.
I love Disney because of the strong female characters for my little girls to aspire to….
And fingers crossed as the Sydney dates almost coincide with Miss 5’s birthday in July xxx She helps us so much with Miss 2 and deserves a real thrill xxx
We met Belle at Disney World Orlando 3 months ago. My 2 year old daughter had her photo taken with her and is completely besotted. Thank you Disney for bringing happiness and hope into our world.
Loving nature, adventure and being bring, Pocahontas is a favourite
Mulan is her favourite and mine as well – She teaches her that girls can do anything that boys can do which is a great life lesson
I asked Miss 6 who is her favourite and she said Cinderella because she’s kind, caring to animals and has a lovely dress & pretty shoes! What else does a girl need except for a handsome Prince?
Darling Daughters favourite would have to be the archetypal Disney Princess… also known in some circles as the forgotten princess…. Giselle from Enchanted. Although she has never been apart of the official animated disney princess clan Amy Adams did an exceptional job at portraying the character through the use of her vocal abilities. Second to her and directly from the animated clan, it would have to be Tiarna…. what a beautiful story the princess and the frog is.
Mine growing up was Cinderella, I was given the VHS tape as a gift lets just say it definitely got a work out over the years! That being said I absolutely adore the music from all the disney princess movies and have been a fan of the disney on ice show since I was a child.
Thanks Melissa – we love Enchanted too. Unfortunately this competition is closed though.
Silly me – I announced the winner on my Facebook page, without writing her name on this page. The winner of the competition was Annabelle Nicolas. Congratulations Annabelle and thanks to everyone for entering.
