Located on the traditional land of the Ma Mu people, the Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway offers kilometres of stroller friendly walking for families wishing to experience the rainforest. For an admission fee ($20 for adults and $10 for children over 4) families can explore the rainforest canopy at their own pace. Our family loves the rainforest however we have been limited at other locations by paths and stairs that are not suitable for families with young children. As a north Queensland resident I would go so far as to say this is the best rainforest walk in the region for families with small kids as, excluding an observation tower the entire walk is easily accessible.
The walkway is open 9.30 – 5 30 every day except for Christmas however last entry is at 4.30. Take your own food an snacks with you. Drinking water is available however your own bottles are recommended.
The Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway is located 115 kilometres south of Cairns. To get there take the Bruce Highway south from Cairns and turn off at the Palmerston Highway. The Mamu Rainforest Canopy Walkway is a further 27 kilometres along.

Looks amazing!
I love that this rainforest trail is so family friendly. It looks beautiful and looks like your kids enjoyed it too.
