I’ve said it before on this blog – I love the Wildlife Habitat at Port Douglas. That is why it is my “don’t miss it” pick for families visiting Port Douglas. The Wildlife Habitat offers families a unique wildlife immersion experience as they wander through three unique environments depicting the surrounding rainforest, wetlands and grasslands. There is also the opportunity for guided tours and animal presentations. The highlight of our own visits have been “Breakfast with the Birds” where our family has enjoyed a buffet breakfast surrounded by native birds including Tawny Frogmouths. We love it so much we keep going back each time we have visitors from down south.
