I’m Danielle a mum doing her best to balance professional life as a doctor with three young kids. Domestic life is not my strong point. If you are looking for a blog about cooking, craft or home-life then you have come to the wrong place. I love being out and about, exploring the world and my neighborhood with my kids.
When my first son was 3 months old we travelled round the world. I learnt plenty from that first experience of travel with a baby. Firstly, that it is not always easy, second that it can be fun/rewarding/enriching (pick whichever word you prefer) and third that being prepared and informed makes each trip much smoother. I use this blog to share what we’ve learnt and hopefully help others enjoy their own travels.
As a family we are passionate local explorers. We live in cosmopolitan Melbourne and I love sharing what’s happening for families in our city and region. I’m also committed to continuing to explore further afield whenever we get a chance. Time outdoors with some adventure thrown in great. I’m also not adverse to the occasional luxury escape.
While this blog is predominantly about travel and family time, the doctor part of me can’t restrain myself and I share preventive health advice here too, particularly related to travel. Once in a while you will find an article here about something completely unrelated to health or travel, just because.

Gorgeous family you have there!! Loving your blog and looking forward to reading back through your adventures and following along on your new ones!
Thanks Jess. And thanks for taking the time to read the “About page”. Never know who stops by here.
Loving the re-jig to the design and how cute are these pics! xo
Thanks Rene – it seems to be working too – no bugs so far!
Hi Danielle and family;
We are enjoying your blog and it is always lovely to meet another travelling family. We are a rare breed. 🙂
We too have 3 children, all boys. What a joy they all are… and to think I only went on my first overseas holiday, when I was nearly 18!
Thanks so much for stopping by and saying hello. I popped over to your own site and was delighted that you had let me know about another travel blogging family.
